Carlton & Deborah
Edwards
Carlton and Deborah Edwards were both born and raised in Ft Worth, TX and received Jesus at early ages. When they married in 1981, neither one of them had a clue to the adventures awaiting them. Deborah jokingly says "If someone had said that our future included becoming ordained ministers, I’d have thought they were nuts!”

They spent the 80’s serving two churches in the Ft Worth area with Carlton as Music Pastor where God revealed the difference between a “song service” and genuine “praise and worship”. They often say this was the season that they were "ruined" and could never go back to anything other than spirit led worship.

In the 90’s God relocated them to East Texas where their pastor recognized pastor’s hearts in them. they began overseeing a Young Couples class and were transformed. God began to infuse them with vision to plant a church. They carried this vision for a couple of years while they continued to pastor the Young Couples class and also established a prophetic music ministry .

In 1995 God moved them to Phoenix, AZ where they ,with another couple, birthed a church in the East Valley and had the privilege of watching God do wondrous things! Eph 3:20 (above and beyond what they would dare to think, dream or ask!) They enjoyed five years of pastoring as well as God continuing to stretch them in areas of prophetic music ministry.

In 2001 God moved them back to Texas. Shortly thereafter God led them to establish Declaration Ministries Inc. The heart of DMI is simple: To convey the heart of God to man, utilizing music and message.
